A few little things you should know about me:
- I am currently working at an independent bottle shop that specialises in craft beer and my dream is one day to work as a marketing manager at a craft brewery. The reason being is that this is where my passion lies and I love the creativity and honesty behind a beer brand. I feel that for many consumers beer is almost as important to them as milk and bread is to other people. Throughout my career I want to be able to connect with people on a level that is in line with an every day conversation. I feel this is where marketing communications is heading.
- However, I do not want to pigeon hole myself into one career path as I want to always ensure that my door is always left ajar for potential job opportunities that may come knocking. Therefore I am striving to work for a marketing agency or a companies marketing department who’s values are aligned with mine, which include honesty, creativity and a people focus in regards to career development.
